- A constant rotational path: the planar motion.
- The technical device of zoom as the only possibility for depth traversal: the axial motion.
- Textural possibilities: the default, the red, the green, and the blinding white.
Once the axioms, what are the filmic metaphors that emerge? Another question arises: what possibilities to include, thus exclude? Depending on the dimension of the axioms (and the dimension of an axiom), entire permutations can be explored. At times, that can be excessive, perhaps mathematically impossible. And certain permutations might be categorically equivalent. Therefore, a complex path outlined, pruning unnecessary directions of the tree, and compressing into an essence the possibilities of formal axioms.
